Get ready for the ultimate 7-a-side showdown! The World Kong Cup 2026 brings together the global Hong Kong community for an unforgettable weekend of soccer and basketball action. Whether you’re here for the love of the game or competing for the grand cash prize in our elite divisions, there is a place for every player and every fan. From local legends to international challengers, join us on the pitch and experience global participation at every level.
Organized by the World Kongers Organization and fully supported by the City of Mississauga, this tournament features different divisions that welcomes elite athletes and community teams from across the globe. To support our international participants, the organizer can assist with accommodation. Alongside the tournament, participants and fans can enjoy our vibrant, carnival-like festival fair.
Tournament Details
Dates: August 15 – August 16, 2026
Venue: Paramount Fine Foods Centre Sportsplex (Mississauga, ON)
Format: 7-A-Side Tournament
Participation Fee: CAD 500 + HST per team
Tournament Categories
Open Elite: Featuring cash prizes! Open to all genders and ages.
Open Group: Open to all genders and ages.
60+: Open to all genders born in 1966 or earlier. Teams can have up to two players born in 1968 or earlier on the pitch (max three on the roster)
45+: Open to all genders born in 1981 or earlier. Teams can have up to two players born in 1986 or earlier on the pitch (max three on the roster)
35+ COED: Open to males born in 1991 or earlier. Teams can have up to two players born in 1996 or earlier on the pitch (max three on the roster). Female participants have no age restrictions, but at least one must remain on the field at all times.
*Note: Divisions may be adjusted based on registration numbers to ensure fair play.
**Teams are limited to a maximum roster of 20 players.
